Hi there, I asume your asking because you think that your child maybe type1 diabetic. I'm not entirely sure what it should be for a child of that age, but I'm a diabetic type 2 and both my children had to be monitered when they were born for low blood sugar. When I asked thay told me that their sugar levels should not drop below 3 as my daughters was she was put on a glucose drip for a few days after she was born. I'm pleased to say she's a very happy 7 week old now with no ill effects. If you are at all concerned take her to your GP and get her checked over.
