natural v c section

Hi i may have to have a c section i was wondering if anyone prefers them to natural deliverys ? pro's and cons ect

ive never had a section but being threatened with it brought me to tears whereas my aunty never had natural but would rather have a section not a great lot of help i know but honestly id say natural u get the feeling of achieving something amazing i dont imagine ud get hat with a section

Hi I've never had a natural birth yet but gonna try this time. With my last and first baby they found he was breech when I went for my 2nd sweep! they tried to turn him but couldn't so had a C. I was convinced I didn't want one but had no choice, it was all fine, you don't see or feel anything and it's over quickly, about 50 minutes but your baby is with you within the first ten (as far as I can remember). The worst bit is afterwards, I was a real wimp but others who had one seemed fine. Now I'm nervous at the prospect of giving birth naturally as it will be no where near as quick and painless I expect!

thanks guys seen my midwife today and she thinks im breech so looks like could be a section anyway im more worried about recovey after more than anything else

i had a natural with first and em c section with second 5 weeks early due to placenta prob was very scared but the op is fine the doctors are very good and tell you what they are doing but when the pain kicked in OMG i thought i was dying but it only lasts for about 3 days but they give very good pain relief tho this time round not sure what to have c section or natural will go with the dr advice i think they no best anyway good luck x
