Hi everyone, I now in my 7th week of my 3rd pregnancy the pains have subsided which is great, but I now have very bad tooth ache. I went to dentist yesturday for my check up and told him I was having problems with this tooth and he said he wouldnt remove it till I was over 12 weeks or I could try a crown but would have to wait till baby is born.He fiddled with it and said I had an abcess and needed anitbiotics but he didnt want to give them me and told me to go to my gp. Anyway since then he has left me in worse pain than I was before,I never got sleep and sat with a bag of peas on my face all night! I went to an emrgency dentist 30 miles away today after NHS direct messed me around all morning and they said I hadnt got an abcess at all just the filling too close to the nerve and they could re do the filling but not till 12th week but I have had this done 3 times to same tooth so I saidI wanted out,but because I got there just before they closed she said she couldnt do it today so here I am still in agony. Anyway has anyone else had to have dental treatment in early stages because I am worried about the effect it may have on my baby,Iasked if it was safe and she said yes but the other dentist said after 12 weeks. I don't know if I should just put up with the pain even though I am so tired and feeling quite ill with it.
