 I went to have a 3D scan yesterday, but my child decided to be shy and hide her face!

does anyone have any tips or ideas on how to get her to turn around, as i've been allowed to have a rescan next week.

I tried fizzy drinks, walking and laying on one side

aaaw what a shame Emma! Good they are giving you another one. I went for one in my first pregnancy, woman got me to walk around and turn from side to side and this was ok, got a great dvd of her little face and when I look back she looks like that now - same wee nose! Hiya Emma,

I had a bottle of full fat Coke and 2 packets of Rolos about half an hour before I went for mine and he didnt stop moving the whole time! Not sure if this was the reason but you could give it a go.

i so know what it feels like ive gone bk 5 times and each time baby hides. someone said to me take a semi frozen bottle of water with. if baby plays up place the bottle on ur tummy. ive tried it at home and baby moves about a lot.

emz, 30 weeks prego

 hey!

i went today and she was perfect! 

played up abit at first, but i went for another walk and had some coke, a bar of chocolate, and had a full bladder and the images came out amazing! 

the woman who was doing the scan got over excited about how good she was being and instead of coming away with 6 images, she gave me 25!
