Hi there,

Im breastfeeding my 4 day old little girl and have noticed I have a lump (about the size of a malteser) under my armpit.

Whenever she feeds off that breast she gags and is not interested in feeding, shes not gagging on the flow of milk because she doesnt get a great flow.

Has anybody else had a similar experience?

hi. i got a lump under my arm, doc said it was a gland, with all that's going on i'm not surprised!! but my daughter didn't have a problem feeding. saying that your baby will have a favourite breast. i'd still go to doc's for piece of mind though.

Like caa206 said it best to get it checked out by gp but I would also speak to a breastfeeding councellor re the gagging problems.
