 hi, my baby is 13 weeks n i want 2 know when i should stop burping her?

i was advised by my sister that i should stop once they can sit up on ther own unaided. so i did this. my daughter is 10 months now. she has been burping on her own since she started to sit up at 5months..... sometimes when i give the morning bottle to her i will still give her a little pat on the back because she can still be a little sleepy and not want to sit up to release the gas and if i dont burp her then she can sometimes have a little sicky. but yea other then the odd pat on the back she has self burped from 5months.

i have a 2 year old and a 8 week old i also stopped when my daughter could move around as they do the burping for there selves
