 hi all, a wired question i no but...im having a problem on what to wear for a christening i am due to go to next week. im 19 weeks pregnant and already wearing maternity clothes, im abit of a tight one and dont want to waste money on lots of maternity clothes as this can be expensive, iv bought 3 pairs of jeans so far, black skinny,3/4 denim combat & boy jeans. i have this christening to go to but dont want to go too casual, i want to look smart but be comfortable, anyone got any tips on what to wear on a budget?? thank you

Why don't your get a casual dress with leggings that you can wear again?

yeah id say a nice dress n leggins  n a nice pair of ballerina style shoes u shud b able to pick the lot up from primark i got my leggins from primark a bargain at £3 they r so comfy its like wearing ur jarmas

I always wear a maxi dress they are great for over the bump, stylish, comfortable, great with flat shoes and can wear all through pregnancy and afterwards.  Good Luck xx

Hi, I'm going to a function on saturday this week, i got a dress off ebay, only been worn once before, its like new, cost me £25 posted, and I already have accessories for with it so cheap for a proper posh frock.  Planning to sell it on myself after as I'll only wear it once (I'm 8month gone now) so it will still be like new for someone else to get some use of.  Have fun shopping!

Also, last time I was pregnant I was 20wks along and had a wedding to go to so bought a size up from my normal in an ordinary maxi dress, then the year after when I was still podgy from the baby weight I wore it for two other functions because it wasn't maternity.  Unplanned that way but worked out well.
