breech at 32 weeks

hi there,

i am 32 weeks pregnant, and my baby is in a breech position.  saw my consultant yesterday and he say's that the baby is in such a position that it is unlikely to turn by itself.  due to complications after my last birth with a c- section he is not willing to turn the baby manually due to stress and pressure on the scar.  i really want to have a natural birth this time, but if baby has not moved in 4 weeks then has to be another section.  has any body else experienced breech at this stage and have they turned on there own....

good luck all

Hi Emma i am expecting baby no 3 and am only 14 weeks. i have had two prev c sections first one was an emergency section and my second was so big she was massive at 36 weeks when i had her so had to have a section because my scar from my previous section was rupturing. with my second daughter she was still breech at 32 weeks and they told me they didnt think she would turn. she did when i was 36 weeks i was driving and went over a speed bump ha ha ha i felt her turn and it did make me feel quite sick but i was so relieved that she had turned because i would have loved a normal delivery but it didnt work out that way.

i think you still have time for the baby to turn my midwife told me not to go mad on exercise but to be active, even though a speed bump did the trick lol.

good luck xxxxxx
