Hi there, my lo is now 10 weeks old. the other morning i went to get him out of bed an found that he had turned 180 degrees in his cot! i then put him under his play gym, went to get some water to wash him with an make his bottle. when i came back he had again turned 180 degrees an come completely off the mat! later on in the day i was eating some lunch and he was playing under his play gym then all of a sudden he was by my feet! he is also rolling over. everytime i watch him he doesnt do it so have no ideas on how is moving! i mentioned it my hv an she theres no way he could be moving yet. does anyone else baby do this? she also said that he doesnt delibrately grab his toys!!

some babies definitely do move earlier than others! my first son rolled at 11/12 weeks and was moving fair distances across the floor by 18weeks. and he was also grabbing toys too

My little boy is 13 weeks old and he is a little mover, he can move quite abit if i pop out of the room he has moved at least 90 degrees and sometimes off the mat. A couple of times he has rolled over (before he was 10 weeks) but hasn't done since then unless he has and I've missed it.  as for grabbing toys he doesn't do that at the moment, when he is on his mat or blanket if you put something out of his reach on the floor he will grab the mat or blanket and somehow manage to pull it towards him. All children develope at different ages and stages. Its what makes them individuals :-)

My little boy is 13 weeks old, he rolled over for 1st time a few days ago, so looking forward to finding him at the other side of the room one day lol. As for grabbing toys, it is highly possible, my little man has been grabbing his toys and other things he likes for about 4 weeks now.
