Really Confused

Hi all. im wondering if anyone can offer me any advice. I was having some wierd feeling at the weekend and decided to do a pregnancy test on sunday evening. While i watched still sat on the toilet a posative line came up. it was only light but it is definalty there. i thought i would leave it a few days and do another 1. So on tuesday morning i did another test and it was negative i nearlly fainted. i rushed out and bought another test which was also negative. i really thought i was pregnant i dont fell like i normally do but im so confused has anybody got any ideas or had a similar experiance.

I was a day late which was unusual for me so did a few tests all of which came up with a really, really faint line indicating that I was pregnant. When I did the test with my little boy a year or so earlier though it was so strong the line straight away that I didn't get myself too excited this time and then on the Friday I was gutted when I came on my period. It is so early in the pregnancy when you do the test (normally) and sometimes unfortunately the egg just doesn't 'take'. This being said I know lots of people that had negative results and then 2 months later have found out that they were indeed 3 months pregnant - no explanation to be given so stay positive and if it doesn't happen this time I'm sure it will very soon. It did for me - I'm expecting my second bundle of joy in September. Take care x

Unless you have had a recent miscarriage or birth where the Hg hormone is still present you cannot get a false positive. I did a test when I was 2 days late and the first was REALLY feint. The next I did a few hours later and was again really feint. I did a final one the next morning and still positive. I'd suggest going to your GP or doing another test with your first wee of the day when they say the hormone is at its highest. Good luck Jo & 20+5 wk bump xx

hi there i was late by 3days so i did a test and i said negative and a week and a half later i still hadnt come so i did aother one and it said positive i was at the hosp a couple of days later and i said to them and the midwife said it doesnt matter how many negative as long as you get one positive it means your pregnant. it also happened to my sister inlaw last month she did 2 test 1 was neg n 1 was positive a couple of days later she did aother 2 and the same happened she got a test from a midwife and that was positive so there is a good chance you are pregnant but you should go to your GP mandy n 16wk bump xx
