Hi my son is 16 months and i still breast feed but u dont find many others do and would LOVE to chat  to other mums who still are and get some support :) x

hi. i say well done you!!! i fed both my girls untill 15mths where i switched to cows milk. i just didn't feel the need when they could have that. how long do you plan to go on for? i'm on my 3rd pregnancy and hopefully can breast feed again. i'll go again to 15mths.

Thanks hun :) he is my 4th and i wasnt able to feed the others myself and didnt expect to be doing it this long but he finds a lot of comfort in it so while he is happy .... altho i wont be still feeding him when he is older like in the magazines lol x

Our little girl is now 11 months and i am still very happily feeding her!,i fed our son , who is now 4 , until he was 2 years and 2 months!!,i didnt really plan to feed that long but just went with the flow as i am a great believer in baby knows best!!(within reason!!lolx)i think we just came to the end of it naturally , i was just pregnant with our second baby and i think he just didnt need it anymore. I am like you though i dont find many of my friends , (infact thinking about it ANY of my friends!)have breastfed they all went straight to bottle.Its really strange for me as i always thought "breastfeeding??yuk,i'm not getting my boob out in public!!" Well done and keep up the good work!! x x x x

Thanks hun it was gr8 to hear from u :) u have given me the confidence to carry on even after he is 2 !!! i am going to go with the flow and let him tell me when he wants to stop did hefeed much when he was 2 ? thanks again to u all x x
