HELP MILK

kylie71 Joined: 12/06/2002 Posts: 64 HELP MILK hello everyone, im in a bit of a muddle,my little girl is nearly 11months, i dont know whether to give my little one cows milk when she turns 1 or follow on milk, and i dont know whether to start her on having a few ounces of cows milk in the day no matter what one i choose? also i bought her avent bottles today as i thought it would be a good idea to get them as you can get handles for them, but i dont know if its worth trying to give her milk from the magic spout Instead as people have been saying she should be going onto a beaker for milk now!! i dont want to change too uch for her at once, and dont want to hae to keep changing things, just want whats best for her. any help appreciated many thanks

It would be like learning to drive on the motorway for us - too much all at once! you'll have more success if you introduce one thing at a time. Personally, i'd change the milk first then try adding the 'handles' you can buy to the avent bottles - to get the lo used to having to pick the bottle up, then you could change to the avent magic beaker with handles. danielle811 Joined: 05/01/2009 Posts: 97 Re: HELP MILK hello i have a very do what your child wants attitude to parenting,, if your chilld still likes her bottle let her keep it mabeys give her a beaker of juice with a meal. but i had people critising me for letting my little boy have a bottle of milk before bed all because he was 2 years old it was cows milk with a bit of chocolate in and he wanted it and i wasnt prepared to upset his bedtime routine because of what people said. hes now 2 1/2 and hetold me he didnt want his bottle anymore so i took it away, as for the cows milk thing my likkle un refused baby milk at about 12 month so we gave him cows milk, so if your likkle un likes it why take it away. i now have people critising the fact he has a dummy for bed. well they can s0d off. sorry to rant but im pregnant and very hormonal at the moment LOL xx danielle, mason 2 1/2 and 26 week pink bump xx
