Feeling really down in the dumps!

libbi Joined: 01/02/2006 Posts: 39 Feeling really down in the dumps! Hia guys! Just wondering if anyone else feels the same as me! I am currently 11 weeks 3 days pregnant with my third baby - my eldest is 3 next month and my youngest is only 6 months! This baby was an accident and i was happy when i found out but now its hitting home just how hard its going to be as its such a struggle to get my husband to get up in the night with my youngest (although now he is going most of the night now) i just dont seem to be getting a break particularly when my husband is away with work as he is in the army and is away a lot of the time! We constantly seem to be arguing aswell which is probably making me feel worse! I have NEVER wanted to terminate a pregnancy as every pregnancy is so precious to me after i had a miscarriage before my first but i just find myself thinking i cant cope which is so unlike me! I have my scan on wednesday so it might make me feel a bit better but i just dont think i'm going to cope! Has anyone got any advice for me please as i just feel so down! I might speak to my midwife about it but will she just think its my fault! Any help is very much welcome! Libbi Jake Harvey and flump bump!

I have a four year old and i am 24 weeks pregnant. A few times during my pregnancy I have felt the same way. How will i cope, will my son cope, will my husband cope! I am one of five kids, ranging from 31 to 8! My mom's advise has always been, the more you have the better the routine works. We all feel a bit overwelmed with things, but do speak to your midwife! They have seen alot worse!! Just think your youngest will be over a year when the new baby arrives, yes it will be hard work, but think of the rewards you have already seen with your older two. For me thats what makes the stress of life seem to melt away. best of luck!!! "V"

It was hard for her but we all rallied round and they are not 7 and nearly 6. Shes just had a little girl 4 months ago and they two eldest are so protective of her. They both go to the same school and are in the same playground etc. They are so protective of each other in school and out. if anyone picks on Shannon, Connor is straight there and vice versa. It's lovely to see and although my sis says they do her head in fighting she's glad she had them both. Also dont forge5t your hormones will be all over the place which wont help with your emotions etc. Jo&19+4 bump xx
