My LO is 9.5 months and i'm still breast feeding, I have no interest in stopping but he has started to bite me really hard. He has 4 teeth 2 top and 2 bottom and OMG it hurts. How do i get him to stop? I have tried saying no and putting him down and walking away (like my mum sugested and used when we were little) but it hasn't worked. I really don't want to stop feeding him so any advice other then that would be great thanks.

hey hun, what about thoses nipple covers? i used them when i breast feed my lil man and my nipples got sore?? my be worth ago? i think every baby goes threw the biting stage and to be honest these not that much you can do,  i gave up breast feeding when my lil man was 3 months old so long before he had teeth but i no most babies have that biting stage xx

hi. i can't suggest much else i'm sorry. i used to hook my finger in their mouth and take them off and start again, take them off, start again. never put them down and walked away. if you try keep stopping and start straight away he may get fed up off keep stopping and starting and stop biting as they don't want an interrupted feed. is he biting quite early in the feed or later. if later, he maybe playing cos he's full now he's on solids and is really feeding for thirst and finds biting you amusing or if early it could be soothing his teeth!! but he needs to know your not a soother! this worked for me, with both my girls who i fed until 15mth but it took while and if you want to keep feeding you'll have to stick with it.
