I just wanted to know whar kind of foods to do at lunchtime, she is getting bored with sanwiches and toast...but im not sure what else. She has a cooked meal and pudding for dinner, do i do the same for lunchtime?

cook some pasta until its really soft and add some baby pasta sauce or mild cheese to it.  or cook 1/4 of a tin of beans and let her make a mess with them while shes eating.  at 8 mpnths she could probably hold 1/2 a banana and eat it just fine.  oven chips are always an easy fix, dont do fried chips though because they are just fatty..... my daughter loves sausages, they are easy to grip on to and munch on, and if she is still lacking in the tooth department then you can always buy the skinless sausages.  today for lunch my daughter had some diced up bits of cheese and little slices of ham to nibble on followed by 1/2 a banana( if she seems hungry after her lunch i offer her a fromage frais).

Hiyas,

my 8 month old has an Ellas pouch (first stage one) as its easy food esp. when we are out and about, and i figure its fruit & veg, then she has a yoghurt. After or during she munches on a cheese string dairlea ones, and also has a handfull of organix baby crisps which she feeds herself while im spooning in the other bits.

Ive found that cherios on her tray is good snack.. keeps her busy too as they are small and hard to pick up bless her. She'll eat a banana, i just break it in half, half in each hand. She likes the little pancakes (lemon & raison), and brioche rolls.

I tend to just give her a variety of snacks at lunch, at dinner she has a proper homemade (i make and freeze) meal so I figure she doesnt need 2 proper cooked meals a day. Plus all her snacks and breaky. lol. :) x
