I was wondering my baby is 7 weeks old I have rattles floor gyms etc and she doesnt seem interested what age do babies like playing or reacting to toys.I can sit her in frount of the colourful curtains or wall paper and she is happy watching them when did your babies start getting playful.

hey hun, my lil man had every toy, playmat going when he was first born but he too didnt have much interest in them, he was much happier sitting by the window and looking out??? i guess each baby is different but my lil man only started wanting to play with hes toys when he was 10-11 weeks old xx

my daughter only started being interested in toys when she was 8-9 weeks and started learning how to grip and shake things. shes now 6 months and plays with everything she can get her hands on :). i think at this early age they are more interested in looking at faces and things and taking in all the new stuff they see.

Hi my Daughter is 4months and she was exactly the same not intereasted in toys just in other children, adults and her suroundings but over the past 3 weeks she has all of a sudden started wanting toys and stays interested in them for long periods of time, i was a nanny before I became a mum and there is no need to worrie as every child i have had in my care have been totally different !! you will notice a sudden change then they cange everyday so make the most of every second x

hay i brought things like that for my daughter shes nearly 5 an a half months now she only got interested in stuff 3-4 weeks ago its amazing how shes changing now she grabs every thing to try an eat it just give ur baby time an youll notice the change x
