Hello all I am expecting my first baby next month...I have a rough idea about the type of birth i want to have...i have been told that my baby is small and that my birth should be quite straight forward (but anything can happen really) I was just wondering whether I should write down what I plan to do just so they know at the hospital,write a few bulletpoints, or just go with the flow???What would you reccommend??? Hi first of all congrats on ur bundle!! Ive had 3 kids and im expecting number 4. I personally would go with the flow and see how u feel come the day. With my first I was 18 and very scared I wrote a birth plan that I wanted everything pain relief wise when it came round to the day I was able to manage with gas and air and pethidine. With my 2nd I had gas and air and again thought i wanted everything and finally with my 3rd I wanted to try labour with no pain relief at all and did it just fine although it was a very quick one only 10 mins. If it makes u feel more at ease write it down and take it with u. U dont have to follow it word for word anyway just see how u feel on ur special day. Hope this helps Nichola 10 week tiny bumpxx
