Hi

I have recently found out i am expecting which was a very big shock! Although im not really young (Im 22) I think i am around 7 weeks but  i have a midwife appt 2moz, im really excited i just really want my first scan! My only other worry is i dont live with my partner! So we have all the stress of finding a house and decorating it etc! But my partner has been amazing! Were both so excited! Just wondering if anyone else is in the same boat as me? Or if anyone else has been there and done it so to say ... So much to do ... so little time!! Xxx

Hi BBump congratulations on your good news. I was 19 when i had my first daughter i am now 27  next month and  34 weeks pregnant with my 3rd. I was in the same situation as you, i found out when i was about five weeks and i didnt live with my other half at the time either we found a house when i was 7 months pregnant so only had two months to sort it and settle in but we did it with weeks to spare i was actually happy she was a week late so i could relax abit b4 she came lol. Everything will work out fine, family and friends will help you out, get them all round for a decorating party it will be done in no time. All the best and good luck.

hey. congrats on your good news. i was in the same boat as you. i was working abroad in fuerteventura where i met my partner. we found out whilst we were still there, so when we moved back to UK we were not living together. At the minute im still living with my parents, but have been tryin to find a house for about 4months now (im 29weeks pregnant). im still not having any luck with a house.. it is stressful but i keep thinkin something will come along soon enough, so ill just be patient. it does annoy me tho coz i do wanna get in and decorate and set up the nursery but i suppose it will all come in good time.

enjoy your pregnancy, ive loved it :) feels fab, im gonna miss my bump after june but ill have a little bundle of joy to look after :) :) well excited.

good luck with the house hunting, it will all work out fine. take care xxxxxxx

hi. we were the same as you too. but my fella was staying over everynight as it were. i lived at my mum's. you don't say if you're with parents or own place. we stayed at my mum's until baby was 6mths. you don't need a nursery until then anyway. we took our time found the best house we could at that time. but it did take ages for us to find the house and for it to go through!!! mum wanted us to stay! and she's so glad she had that time with baby.

as for decorating!!! my friend told me (while i was still at home) you're forever decorating, there's always something else you want to do. and it's true! we've been here 5 1/2yrs and we still are!!

first of all congratulations. secondly never let anyone call your baby an accident, you are having a whoopsababy lol. this is my 2nd pregnancy and i am 29 weeks. i am in a mad dash redecorating the house as i want it done before baby comes. we were considering moving. but don't want to disrupt older kids. but otherwise i would have no worries about moving. just make sure you have plenty of help and make sure the kettle and a comfy chair is the first thing to go in the house, that way you can have a cuppa and a comfy seat
