hi can anyne tell me what the sure start is? who can claim? and how to claim? thanks

Hi not sure who qualifies etc but if you go onto the direct.gov website it tells you everything you need to know. It has really helped me understand everything and ive found out about other things we may be entitled to.

HI the Sure Start Grant is for people who are on benifits...

Income Support, tax credits, low income. You can apply by downloading the form from the gov website or do what I did and called into my local jobcentre. If you fill in the form and send this off then you could qualify for a one of payment (not having to pay back) of up to £500. You can only claim this from week 29 onwards and up to the baby being 3 months old. Hope this helps.

you go into your local job centre and ask for the prepaid envelope, its £500, not up to £500. good luck, i got it this time but not with my first, Jac, Holly 2 & 39+5 bump x
