I found out at 19weeks im having boy and well since then me and my partner have been trying to think of names but can't seem to agree on one. Everyone said i was going to have a boy and well they were right. I like the name oscar but when i mentoned that name he laughed. My mum also thought it wasn't a good name. ( i really like it and thought it was nice and not common). I dont want a name that is widely used and it has to be something different from the rest of the family. We have come up with ones like Caleb and Blake but are not sure. My mum mentioned Damien, i like the name but my partner says no. I never thought it would be so hard to agree on a name!

If any one has any ideas on an unusual name but  not to strange lol would much appreciate it. Thanks everyone from Sabrina and 20week bump! :) x

hey i had the same problem too wen i had my little boy and in the end we decided on the name ISAAC

i have  excatly the same problem my baby is due in 14days and i still dont have a boys name, we don't know the sex of our baby, weave had a girls name for months but cannot think of ne boys names. all i can suggest is read through babay name books internet and even look at credits from films for names.

i now found out im having a girl at 14week scan sed boy 23 week scan sed a girl....girls name hard!!

only one i really like is kelsie....but not too many people keen on it any ideas would be grateful. xxx

HI !!!  Me and my other half havent found out the sex of the baby, still at 29 weeks we wanted it to  be a surprise, which is nice. but deciding on names is a different story.

we agreed on that i decide on girls names and he decides on boys. swap ideas and see what we thought. Well . . . . i decided on Freya for a girl - which we both like and that is fine with both of us, so thats a done deal. but boys names  

He likes George - well i see that as a common name, whcih i dnt want, i liked the names Kai and Blake, but he doesnt. so the only names we have agrred on that we both like are Liam, Connor, Dillan and Sidney. so if we have a boy its going to be called one of those four names, whcih one - we still havent agreed on and basically just going to wait for the day and hopefully the baby may look like a name ??
