im 18 weeks pregnant with my second child, im worried my 7 yr old is going to feel left out. we have encouraged her to help when choosing what to buy for baby and has helped with names but im worried about when the baby arrives and how little time i would spend with her she has always been a mummys girl and im worried her behavior may change.

i was in the same situation a couple of years ago, i had my 7 year old son and was expecting my 2nd child, i did worry but there is not a lot you can do other than try and prepare them. it sounds like your doing the best thing anyway! my son loved his new brother and was brilliant! i hope you have the same outcome! im now expecting my 3rd child in a couple of weeks but am finding it difficult to prepare a 2 year old for a new brother!

thanks for that x suppose ever1 worries bout that. but u have a harder situation on ur hands with a little toddler but in a way maybe he will addapt better than an older child? he prob will show some jelousy but hopefully everything goes ok!!! i dont really know what to say to help you as ive never been around any1 else in the same position as you but good luck an hope everything goes easy for you xx lou xx
