hi there i am 22 weeks pregnant with my third child. have 2 beautiful little girls aged 9 and 6 and went for my scan 2 weeks ago and found out i am having a little boy. am so happy that we are having a little boy the only problem is what do we call him. i like more up to date names like kai, kaiden or caleb. but my partner likes old fashioned traditional names like george, harry or thomas. these names dont appeal to me at all. my daughters names are kaylee and shelby so need something to go with these. this is our first child together and everytime we bring up the conversation of baby names we just get on each others nerves because we disagree all the time.

has anyone got any suggestions of a boys name that isnt too way out but not and old name please help i know we have a long time til the baby comes but i have a feeling we still wont have decided  by then ha ha

hiya, i had this problem but in the end i called my son (3months old) Corben. How about Cody,kirk, leo,leon, finley or even ashton................

thanks for replying i really do like the name finlay or finley. we sat and agreed lst night on two names Harvey (this is old and come back so newish) and Mason. gonna think them two over for a few days and see if i still like them but to be honest i usually go of a name in a couple of days ha ha.

heya i have a little boy whos 2 and am currently struggling to find a name for my second boy whos due in april. Why dont you and your partner both use a name? my 2 year old is called frayzer joseph, frayzer is quite unusal where i am and joseph is quite traditional and old fashioned :) theres always a solution :)

Can you girls tell me which name you think sounds better for my second little boy;

Louie Walter

Preston Walter or

Harvey Walter

I love all 3 names but told my family i would use my grandads name as the middle name in respect for him but im wishing i never now as i cant find a name to go with it :S

hiya i think we have actually decided on a name that we both like now Mason, i have the same trouble as you i am going to use my dad and partners first name as a middle name but wish i hadnt said it ha ha. as it is david and i not sure if it goes with Mason? wot do you think?

i like the names Louie annd Harvey, i think maybe Harvey walter goes together and sounds nice. i not so sure if Preston goes with walter. to be honest though you never use the middle name so i wouldnt worry to much as it will only be on babys birth certificate.
