Hi, I'm the same: huge! this is my third preg, the last bein 13 months ago so not had a chance to lose the preg weight so of course that makes me look bigger than I am! I am huge with others sayin 'you look about to pop' yet my baby is monitored every two weeks as it small considering my height 5ft 6ins and weight 13 stone now : ( 1st baby was 18 years ago, up until fallin preg 22 months ago with 2nd I'd been 8st5oz so its gettin me down at the mo! but during preg i eat loads: think its comfort eatin as I dont like bain preg its uncomfy and just generally annoyin : ) but of course worth it to see baby. So no just cause your big dont mean big baby xx Vicky

hi. i wouldn't worry. it could be the way your carrying or you have a lot of water in there for baby to swim. later on, i cant remember when, they should be able to give you a general idea on the weight of baby.

did your midwife not say that measurement was fine?

Hi, The cm's refers to your fundal height. My maternity book (which I have to take to each visit) has a  chart in it. It says that at 30 weeks 26cm is on the lower end of the scale 29 is average and 32cm is on the larger end so it doesn't seem too far off. Have a look in your maternity book. I went for my 16 week check up and I was measuring 16 cm which was on the large end of the scale. for 16 weeks it varied from 9-16, but my last baby was 9 lb 15, so I am expecting one about the same this time. Good luck and don't worry, there's nothing you can do so just enjoy your bump.

Hi All,

Thank you for all ur replies. I was just worried as everyone seems to tell me ohh your big, your aving a big baby so n so and that really annoyes me. My midwife hasnt said anything when she measured my bump she just wrote it down, which too be honest she isnt really helpful anyway with most things,Ive bin pregnant before and was 20 weeks and lost the baby so i wonder if it could have anything to do with this also?! Ill try not to worry im sure its normal, im just worrying coz its my first child and seem to feel massive. Ill have a look in my maternity folder like you say.xx
