hiya all, hope everyone is ok.. i am 18 weeks pregnant n i went for my scan today, i was so excited.. but then when they started checking everything they didnt seem to sure about something, so i asked if everything was ok and he told me they was gunna need me to book a re scan because they couldnt find the bottom of the babys spine, and that is the most important part because of the spina bifada.. my heart just dropped.. so they have booked me in for 2 weeks time to be checked, he didnt make out tht is was a big deal or that something was wrong, he was very carm but i could just tell that something wasnt right.. i was just wondering if anyone else had to go back for rescans for the spine n everything was fine, i keep telling my self and my partner keeps saying it will just be the baby was layed.. i just hope everything is ok..
oh n by the way my baby is a boy.. i wrote a post a couple of weeks ago saying i would love a girl so this keeps telling me tht i shudnt of been so nasty, but now i have realised that i just want my baby to be ok, i am not bothered if it is a boy or girl :( :(
please some one tell me they have been thrpugh this and everything was ok
