Hi ladies, just wondering how long everyone took to conceive - we're trying for our second, finished the pill at the end of May - did 2 tests in July which were negative and took my period 31 July for first time so waiting another few weeks before I test again, We have a 19 month old little girl and fell pregnant second time we had sex so just trying to stay upbeat! I told myself we wouldn't be as luck second time around. Thanks - Jac & Holly x  

when my partner and started to try for our 2nd child i fell on during the 1st month, however i had a m/c at 7 weeks, it then took me 6 months to concieve again and we now have a great 2 year old!

i have been taking the pill since having him, however i wasnt on the ball a few months ago and although we only had sex twice in june :( i managed to fall pregnant again! so here i am expecting our 3rd,lol.

i guess your body will do what it wants, when it wants!

my own personal expieriance i have a 2 and half year old ive had 2 m/c since he was born so had the coil put in had that taken out in january this year and im due 21 oct so it was a matter of days for me so just keep trying it will happen good luck

i fell preggas unpland in 2007 but miscarryd in the december, then after that tryd non stop for another and fell preggas end of july beginin of august 2008 so it took me 7 or 8 months. i read sumwer that it takes on avrg about 6months but some women fall preggas much sooner and some it takes much longer xx

Hi there,

It took me 6 mths with my first child n 1 month with my second which is due Feb 2010.  Before both pregnancys i was on the contraceptive patches.
