I am 32 weeks this weekend and yesterday i was getting a pain at the top of my bump and under my boobs if that makes sence i read about all the late pregnancy discomforts but so far have been ok do you think this is just the baby growing and stretching everythink anyone else experianced this?

hey hun, it sounds like your lil one may have its feet in your rib cadge, or just be getting bigger and trying to find more space, i had the same pain when preggers with my lil man it wasnt very nice and i felt like i couldnt breath sometimes but it will pass, mine went away when baby dropped down low in my pelvis just before i had him, goodluck hun xxx  

Hi Kelly, I had pain just lke that until my bump dropped. It felt like a burning pain and was also really tender to touch right across top of right side of bump. Midwife said because baby always lying that side and kicking in same area uterus was probably bruised. It has settled now, just occassionally uncomfy if baby particularly active agian. hi. i am 36 weeks pregnant and my midwife says to me everytime i go to see her. if i get pains at top of my bumps then i shud phone her straight away, as it is a sign of pre eclampsia. better to be safe than sorry.

RE the pre-eclampsia concerns, it's actually if you get pain on your right side at the ribs and it's a sign of HELLP syndrome.
