Hi, I saw my midwife today. I'm 40 + 5wks. She couldn't do a sweep as everything was tucked too far back, so I'm booked in for induction in about 10 days time. Just wondered about anyone's experience of induction and what it's like. Midwife described it as potentially long drawn out process and already I'm stressing about whether I get hubby to come with, or tell him to go to work as usual? Any info on the experience or process greatly apprecited. Caz x (PS not lovin the new huggies site!!)

hi, i was induced with my first it took 2days before they broke my waters, when that happend my labour was fast and painful, every induction is diffrent it depends on how ur body reacts to the pessary's etc i made my hubbie stay with me and sent him home at night (so he could sleep) as i was worried that he might miss the birth, the best thing to do is ask him what he would like to do, does he work far from the hospital otherwise u would need to take into account the travel time

best of luck and hope it all goes ok aimie 37+4 blue bump xx
