Tummy bugs during pregnancy

Hi all mummies to be. Just a quick question - i seem to have caught a tummy bug off my 2 year old and am getting diahorea on and off for about a week now - not really bad but i get awful stomach cramps with it that wake me up at night sometimes. my little boy still has the tummy bug so not sure if we're passing it back and forth between us. i do keep bleaching the toilet and washing hands etc. any advice on what else i can do - could it be something more serious do you think? thanks. Also just be careful as too much bowel stimulation can trigger the odd contraction but nothing really to worry about but I would get look into x x x all the best and you will be fine :)

He was sent home frm nursery on thur with sickness and diorhea and I caught it on sunday morning horrible. Just take plenty fluids. I've been on the lucozade and 30 week pregnant withbaby girl and she's not stopped jumping about all over the place!! At least I know she has enery when I don't!!
sarah221 Joined: 15/05/2009 Posts: 10 Re: Tummy bugs during pregnancy 26/05/2009 04:46 having a tummy bug can cause premature labour so i would get it checked out and make sure u keep ur fluid intake up otherwise u could get dehydrated which will cause a lot more problems. i had a tummy bug last yr and was 11 wks, it caused me 2 lose my baby. so ur best bet is 2 get advice from ur doctor.hope all goes well. pink bump xxx
