I thoght it would come natural and baby would just latch and suck away till he was full but this didn't happen. It took me about 2 weeks to be able to latch him on properly and was very painful at times (toe curlingly painful) but once I had mastered it I loved breast feeding. I am now 28 weeks pregnant and will definetly be breast feeding again hoping it will come a bit easier this time round. What I'm basically trying to say be prepared for it not being as easy as it look and ask for plenty of help and advice from your midwife. You may be one of the lucky ones who baby just takes to it very easily, but once you have mastered it its very rewarding. Hope this helps Siobhan, Devun 28week bump

I expressed a bit of milk for 2 weeks for my last child so have got the hang of that its just the feeding bit!
