Happy Mother’s Day! Hope you’re being pampered, spoilt and fully appreciated on your special day.
Talking of treats, we’ve just taken our first family holiday – a long weekend not far from home to test the water. Even though the temperature was sub-zero, the kids loved it! Emily couldn’t get enough of the pool and James seemed to master a few new skills with the change of scenery. The best bit was that, because it was a very family friendly resort, we didn’t have to take anything and everything, which took the stress out of planning and packing.

On a totally different note, Emily’s almost ready for potty training – I think. She’s showing a few signs, although she seems to hate the actual potty, which might be a bit of a problem. To be honest I’m slightly dreading it, so I’m relieved that this month sees the launch of the fantastic new Huggies Pull Ups potty training site. It’s packed with all things potty training to help get your little one nappy free, and I for one will be glued to it for the next few months!
